“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us when adversity takes the place of prosperity when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts..”
This post is dedicated special for my mother, Fatimah binti Tahir. Thank you so much mama for raising me up all these while. You are the best mother in the world!
As usual, I can’t sleep after having my sahur, so I decided to go to the nearest beach, Pantai Leman to take some shots. Actually, I just received my ND filters a few days ago. That is why I’m so excited to take a seascape shots. I’ve been ‘rachun’ with this Neutral Density filter by a few ‘landscape otai’ that I met in my Facebook. For some reason, I think there is more landscape photographer on the east coast then north. Or maybe I just don’t met them yet. I hope to meet some in future.
So, here’s my first ever long exposure shot and the setting, 15 secs at ƒ/22, ISO 100. Enjoy watching!
Persiaran Jeragan is one of the recreational park on Alor Setar. It have two side, the other one have better facilities, like playground for kids, which attract more people of course. This side, where I took the shot, less people come. Seems like this park have been left for no use. This shot was taken with 3 exposures and I do a post-processing in Photomatix and CS 3. Thanks for dropping by & have a nice day! 🙂
Today, we celebrated 53rd years of Independence. 53 years of peaceful and harmonious life. I am so proud to be MALAYSIAN! 🙂 Here’s the last night photo, taken right after the fireworks show starts at I-City, Shah Alam. Enjoy watching!
One of my sunset collection on 2010. Actually, this shot was taken from the top of the ‘tangki air‘ (which are not prohibited to enter by anyone, only me :P). Located somewhere around the Bukit Bandaraya. It was a great view from up there, but the sun was too far, and guess what, I’m only using a kitlense. So this is what I get. Please ignore the FG part, I was too lazy to brightened it up :D. Overall I’m not fully satisfied with the result, maybe will go there again after this Raya. Because ‘mau balik kampung laa‘..
My very first seascape shot! Right after I received my first DSLR (which I still use it until now) decided to go to Pulau Langkawi to learn to capture some of the scenery photos. So here one’s of them. I’m using the ‘auto’ mode at this time. Lol ~ 😛
Last time I went back to Alor Setar, I decided to go for a drive to Pulau Bunting for some scenery and sunset shots. Guess what? A bad timing for me. When I arrive to the spot, the sky is already dark. Perhaps, another time..
