The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, or Iron Mosque is the second principal mosque in Putrajaya, Malaysia after Putra Mosque. The mosque was officially opened on 4 September 2009 by the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
Note: Another old stock photo from my collection..There’s been no landscape shooting for me in the past few weeks..I’ve been missing to go out there, to be in action again..
After the shot from PICC, I decided to go to this beautiful spot of amazing architectural building, the Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque or more popular known as ‘Masjid Besi’.
We were very lucky, as for today the sunset is very beautiful and breathtaking..
SubhanAllah for the amazing sunset today, and thank you Allah, for giving us such a beautiful view to watch..
Details: As for this shot, I used AE (Aperture priority mode) and I take 2 different exposures, one for the sky and the other one for the mosque. Both were taken on the same shutter speed of 30 sec. The aperture value for the sky, is f /22 and the mosque is f /11. For longer shutter speed, I used a cheap china ND8 filters with Cokin P series holder.
Tech spech: Both of the exposure were manually blended in Ps, and after that sharpening has been done to increase the dynamic range of the photo. As usual, the final step is adding the watermark.
Thanks for dropping by!
This shot was taken from PICC helipad. Kinda scary, because it was very high from the above ground.
Actually, going out looking for new spots of sunset shot around Shah Alam. But ended up here because didn’t find a good one.
Unplanned shot with my housemate, Hafiz. Actually we were going to eat and I suddenly feels like to take low light photos.
This shot was taken from level 9 (which is not high enough for me,lol), on Mais building at section 3, Shah Alam.
It was a beautiful sunset – 28/10/10. SubhanaAllah, how wonderful His creation are. This shot was taken from my rent house balcony around the magic hour. As you can see, there is a ROL came out from the sun. I was stunning by this beautiful moment!
